Sayne Hurtado
Executive Director
Lawyer and human rights specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the legal, social, and institutional sectors. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles including Commissioner for Women and Family Affairs and Criminal Court Judge in Ecuador, recognized for her commitment to justice and community development.
As Founder and Executive Director of LAC, she leads initiatives focused on multicultural integration, Latin leadership, and international collaboration between Canada and Latin America, promoting sustainable social impact through connection, support, and opportunity.
Alejandra Peña
Technic Collaborator
Entrepreneur, creative director, and founder of Celebra Decor, a company recognized for creating elegant and memorable event experiences. Her work is defined by creativity, leadership, and a strong commitment to human connection and excellence.
Within LAC, she contributes her experience in community relations and social engagement, helping strengthen connections within the Latin and multicultural community through spaces of integration and support.
Francisco Hurtado
Director of Operations & Official Translation
Economist and Master in Commerce with a specialization in Logistics and International Business, experienced in international operations, shipping agency management, and global coordination processes. He also holds the Cambridge C2 Proficiency certification, reflecting advanced bilingual communication skills.
Within LAC, he serves as International Relations and Official Translation Advisor, contributing his expertise in bilingual communication, technical interpretation, and international partnerships.
Rafael Aveunelly
Director of Social Initiatives
Professional with more than 30 years of experience in customer service within international airlines, specializing in public relations, multicultural communication, and human connection. His background as a flight attendant and public relations professional has shaped a people-centered approach grounded in empathy and inclusion.
